 My Wedding Package includes a personalised and unique wedding ceremony that tells your love story together so far; written and designed with you, and for you. This package includes as much contact with me as you need, and I am most certainly available to help you write personalised vows, organise a ritual or suggest songs or readings if you wish. All questions and requests are considered to be important, because this is your wedding. At our initial meeting, it will be vital to get the paperwork done, so we can move onto creating your memorable and magical ceremony together. I also offer a full rehearsal, depending on your needs, as well as the venue, day and time. On your big day, I will arrive early to liaise with other service providers (eg photographer, venue manager, etc) and, more importantly, calm everyone’s nerves! My job is to ensure that your ceremony is everything you hoped it to be… and perhaps a little more!  Included in this cost: your official Certificate of Marriage will be ordered and posted directly to you.   

 Vow renewals are becoming more and more popular nowadays. Couples are reconnecting with one another! There are many reasons to take a renewal of your wedding vows. Perhaps you have been married for many years and a big anniversary is coming up, or you have been going through a rocky time in your marriage and want to celebrate your rekindled commitment to one another. Some married couples were not happy with their wedding, and others feel like they missed out on the ‘big day’ due to a registry wedding or the like. Perhaps you simply want to acknowledge and express the changes and growth that has occurred since your wedding day. Whatever the reason, you can demonstrate your love with plenty of fanfare, or with a more intimate ceremony. The possibilities are endless and the choice is all yours!  

 All throughout history, and across many different cultures, ceremonies and rituals have been used to help individuals and communities express their beliefs and feelings about death. Organising a funeral for a loved one is perhaps the most difficult thing a person will do in their life. Despite the emotional challenge, the funeral or memorial service is a significant part of the grieving process. It provides an opportunity for loved ones to acknowledge the reality of death, and allows them to express their thoughts, feelings and emotions in a safe space. It is about sharing memories and moments with others, thus giving meaning to the life lost. It is a time when many people reflect on life and death, which is much easier when surrounded by supportive family and friends. As a celebrant, and as a person who has loved and lost, I truly believe that a funeral is vital, not because someone has died; but because they lived.
